Music
Music (specifically classical piano) is a pretty big part of my life. Here are some of my favorite pieces and current WIPs :)
Works in progress
- Liszt, Vallée d’Obermann
- Prokofiev, Sonata No. 3 in a minor
- Del Tredici, Gymnopédie no. 1, “My Goldberg”
- Piazzolla, Café 1930 (arr. violin & piano)
- Saint-Saëns, Piano Concerto no. 2
“unofficial” wips I work on when I have time. which is never
- Chopin, Fantaisie-Impromptu
- Schubert, Impromptu Op. 90: No. 2 in E-flat Major
- Schumann, Kinderszenen (I’ve played no. 1 and no. 8, think completing the set would be cool)
N days of practice
Inspired by Hilary Hahn (the GOAT) #100daysofpractice except it’s N and resets every time I skip a day or the semester ends (which will probably coincide a lot). Here’s my spreadsheet I’ll also make a post on this site tagged #ndop with benchmark recordings at the beginning of each “season” to track improvement over time :)
